    Two weeks ago, I took a week off to finish our #PreciousPlastic shredder in time for #Streetlife festival. Lots and lots of welding, including some stick welding while we were out of gas for the MIG welder. Really really happy how it turned out. #onethingaweek #slf

      While running the shredder at the second day of Streetlife, we had a little bit of a catastrophic failure of a weld in the shredding unit itself. Fortunately I didn't make that weld, we got the unit preassembled, unfortunately that didn't really change much 😅

        So we know our shedder can go through metal, but it doesn't really like doing that, which means @dmt_muc and I spent some time in the week after that to take the whole thing apart, remove some of the damage, put in a new mesh, and now we can shred again #onethingaweek
