I really like the LED display on the front. We needed some kind of clock in the living room, and this works really well for that as well. Would be nice if you could use it to display any other text as well via the API, but I doubt that’s a thing 🤷♂️On twitter.com

One weird thing: it only seems to work with the USB power supply it came with. Tried a bunch of other cables and PSUs with no luck. Maybe because they short the data pins? Who needs standards anyways 🤪Permalink On twitter.com

Correction on the charger: shorting D+ and D- is according to USB specs (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Low-power_and_high-power_devices). Not sure what was causing the problems with my Element then, need to check with some other cables. It seems to work fine with other chargers for other people and their Elements 🙈Permalink On twitter.com
