    1. #LoRaWAN people, has anyone done some monitoring of #solar #offgrid setups? I was thinking of something that measures PV and battery voltage & current + maybe other stuff? Anyone build something like that before? #ttn #microgrid

    The problem I'm having is that battery and PV don't share a negative GND, but seem to be tied to each other on the positive side. Sensor/LoRaWAN node would be powered using a regulator on the battery.

      I found this thread, which describes almost what I'm doing, except for they're using a separate battery for the Arduino, while I'd like to use the same battery as the one the charge controller is charging 🤯 electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/266786/arduino-negative-voltage-reading-with-positive-ground
