  1. Built two compost boxes for the balcony yesterday, to try to deal with the drying-out soil problem I talked about a few weeks ago. Not sure is this’ll actually work but it was cheap enough to give it a shot. Just two euro boxes with some drainage holes #onethingaweek

      Didn’t take a final photo, might do that tomorrow (too dark now). It’s two 40x30 euroboxes stacked, with holes in one bottom corner to drain the compost, and a lid on top. They’re filled with some of the used soil, some kitchen waste, green cuttings, and a bit of paper.

        Thinking about adding a LoRaWAN temperature sensor to one of them to see if anything happens inside. Apart from that, I’ll probably just let that sit in the corner for the next few months.
