Had an interesting discussion about electricity usage last night. In order to be more sustainable, we need to address the types of power plants that generate our power, but we should also be using less electricity. But how would we actually do that? Maybe I should add: I don't just want people to give up stuff, because they rarely do. More on how we can adjust or replace what we normally do, just more energy efficient. Like: buy local, repair instead of replace, donate instead of put in the trash, ...Permalink On twitter.com

And then we could think about how to make that kind of stuff easier. How do we enable people to go for more repairs? Making getting stuff repaired simpler? Make it almost as easy as getting stuff delivered? Idk...On twitter.com
